The PlateRite 6600 series is a new type of platesetter and a logical expansion of Screen's PlateRite devices. The PlateRite 6600 provides increased flexibility in plate format support. Capable of imaging intermediate plates, from 12.8" x 14.6" to 38.6" x 27" (with a smaller plate size of 12" x 14.6" available as an upgradeable option), it accommodates a new generation of 6-page web and sheetfed presses.
Two models are available, depending on your needs. The entry-level PlateRite 6600E has a 32-channel imaging head and produces 18 plates per hour. The faster PlateRite 6600S (64-channel) images 30 plates per hour, ideal for meeting the requirements of even the most demanding printer.
