Screen's new flagship 8-up thermal platesetter has been engineered for maximum quality, flexibility and productivity. The PlateRite HD 8900 series features three models that represent a great leap forward in the evolution of Screen CTP. In addition to substantially higher throughput, the PlateRite HD 8900 incorporates enhancements in a number of areas, including a wider plate range and support for 3D printing. The PlateRite HD 8900 handles plate sizes from 12" x 12.1" to 45.8" x 37.4". Multi-channel imaging heads based on grating light valve technology (GLV) ensure exceptional throughput. Imaging resolutions of 1,200, 2,400, 2,438 and 2,540 dpi are standard. An option for imaging plates at 4,000 dpi resolution also is available.
